Ridgemoor opens Monday, Memorial Day, May 25th!! Opening Day Hours will be 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Parking – We can park on the street only. The parking lot does not belong to our swim club and this is not allowable for use. Also parking spots near the clubhouse are for our managers and guards only. Please be careful where you park, paying close attention to the driveways also of our neighbors. Respect is best. Watch for kids moving across the road as you park and manuever the street.
Bikes – All bikes must be parked on the east side of the pool near the path by the trees and at the bike racks. They must be standing up and not laying down in the grass or on the pathway. Please remind kids of this as they are most often to ride and park bikes.
Basic Pool Ettiquette –
- Kids much be 9 years old or older to attend the pool on their own.
- Chairs are for use by anyone, but we ask that you only secure a chair for those who will be sitting. We have many many members and especially on busy days, we want to be considerate of everyone having a place to land as a family or group, but also making sure we have enough chairs to go around. Feel free to sit on towels on the grassy areas or even bring your own foldable chair if that’s helpful.
- Please always follow rules of lifeguards such as walking only, showering before entering water and after sunscreen applications, as well as obeying rules of slide and deep end activities.
- Cleanup your trash and or spilled food if it occurs, under the pavillion and on picnic tables.
Other information –
- Arriving at pool – make sure to check in with the lifeguards who will sign you in on the ipad. Then they will ‘buzz’ the door open for the main entrance for you to enter through the locker rooms and onto the pool deck.
- Snack Shack – reminder it is cash only, unless you purchase more thant $5 at a time on which you can use a credit card. Punch cards are $5 each and might be a good alternative. Lifeguards can explain how it works if you are new to us!
- Memberships – if you still owe a check to the pool, please make sure to bring that with you on opening day or your first time swimming
- Swim Lesson – forms will now be avaiable for printing and use, please bring to pool and check in with lifeguards about spots, bring payment with form.
